Pocky

A popular Japanese snack featuring thin, crunchy biscuit sticks coated in chocolate or other sweet flavors.

Fun Fact: Pocky was first sold in 1966 and got its name from the “pokkin” sound it makes when you bite it!

How to Use It:

1. Pocky Strawberry Cheesecake Cups

A no-bake, individual dessert where Pocky becomes part of the crust and the garnish. Fun to assemble, super cute to serve.

🛒 Ingredients:

  • 1 box Strawberry Pocky (or your fave flavor)

  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar

  • 1/2 cup whipped cream or whipped topping

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 2 tbsp crushed graham crackers (optional, for layering)

  • Fresh strawberries for topping

  • Small glasses or ramekins

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Fold in whipped cream.

  2. Crush a few Pocky sticks and mix with graham cracker crumbs if using.

  3. Layer the bottom of each glass with crushed Pocky, then add a big spoonful of cheesecake filling.

  4. Chill 30+ minutes, then top with a whole Pocky stick and sliced strawberries before serving.

2. Pocky Milkshake (Chocolate Overload Edition)

Pocky as a topping and a mix-in — this one’s pure indulgence. Great for birthdays or movie nights.

🛒 Ingredients:

  • 2 cups chocolate ice cream

  • 1/2 cup milk (or more to thin)

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 4–5 Chocolate Pocky sticks (plus extras for garnish)

  • Whipped cream, chocolate syrup, and sprinkles (optional)

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

  1. Blend ice cream, milk, vanilla, and 3–4 broken Pocky sticks until smooth.

  2. Pour into a chilled glass, top with whipped cream, chocolate drizzle, sprinkles.

  3. Garnish with whole Pocky sticks sticking out like edible straws.
